Introduction to Astronomy

Astronomy comes from the Greek language “ἀστρονομία” meaning the science that studies the Law of Stars. Astronomy is a branch of science that deals with the study of celestial objects, space, and the physical universe as a whole. In common terms, Astronomy is the study of everything in the universe except Earth’s atmosphere like the Moon, Sun, planets, other stars, etc.
